A very enjoyable stay in this stunning location. The views from the lodge are breathtaking. Sharon and Shane are very friendly and helpful hosts and made us feel at ease instantly.
A booklet there explains how the lodge was built and the eco-friendly approach taken to create this space (the entire property is self-sufficient for power for example). This was very informative and inspiring, and enhanced the experience.
Overall my husband and I had a great time and would definitely recommend this place for a quiet retreat out of the city
The views are amazing. Only an hour north of Auckland. It’s a beautiful drive through the mountains. Sharon and Shane were extremely friendly and we were treated with some brownies too! Loved the pod machine!!
